Vishnu Sree Institute of Technology, Nalgonda was sponsored by Vishnu Sree Educational Development Adhyayan Society (VEDAS) with an aim of providing quality technical education with global standards. The institute is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. Vishnu Sree Institute of Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & has got the recognition from Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The institute imparts education in technical field at under graduate level and post graduate program in business administration.
