This College is affiliated to S.V University in 1981-82.There after the permanent affiliation was granted in 1986-87.

In the year 1990-91 the college was admitted to grant-in-aid for Arts and Commerce courses. Recognising the importance of Science Courses ,our college was first introduce with restricted science subjects is during the year 1990-91.
