Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) is a Regional Rural Bank established in terms of provisions of Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 & is sponsored by United Bank of India. BGVB has been established with the amalgamation of erstwhile Mallabhum Gramin Bank, Gaur Gramin Bank, Murshidabad Gramin Bank, Nadia Gramin Bank and Sagar Gramin Bank. This bank is sponsored by United Bank of India & Owned by Govt. of India, Govt. of West Bengal and United Bank of India. The shareholders of the Bank are Govt. of India (50%), United Bank of India (35%) and Govt. of West Bengal (15%)

Eligible candidates who have declared qualified in the online CWE for RRBs conducted by IBPS during September/ October 2017 may apply online for the Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank Recruitment. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the many posts for the IBPS RRB 2017 Office Assistant vacancies to recruit the eligible candidate. The IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2017 notification will be released in July 2017 by the IBPS department on the office web portal. The RRB Office Assistant examination 2017 is divided into three stages. The Preliminary exam will conduct on 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd & 24th September 2017 and Mains exam will conduct on 12th November 2017. Those students who will get select in the Prelims, only those are allowed to appear in the main exam.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Nationality / Citizenship: A candidates should be have citizenship as follows:

  1. Citizen of Indian
  2. Citizen of Nepal
  3. Citizen of Bhutan
  4. A Tibetan refugee

Migrated Peoples from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Education Qualification:

The aspirants must have degree in any discipline from a government recognized University. Also candidate should have proficiency in local language as per rule and should have basic Knowledge of Computer skills.

Age Limit: 

  1. For General Candidate lower age limit is 18 and upper age limit is 28 years.
  2. For OBC candidates, lower age limit is 18 and upper age limit is 31 years.
  3. For SC & ST candidates, the upper age limit is 33 years

Age Relaxation: The age relaxation is applicable as per the government rules on the reserved categories.
