Wainganga Krishna Gramin Bank is an undertaking of Government of India, bank of India and Government of Maharashtra. The bank actually came into existence in the year 2008 as a result of the amalgation of three gramin banks. Those three banks were Wainganga Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Chandrapur, Solapur Gramin Bank, Solapur and Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg Gramin Bank, Ratnagiri. The major objective of the bank is to provide a helping hand in the improvement of economy of the rural and semi urban centres. The bank actually performs all its operations in twelve districts of Maharashtra.
