Central University of Gujarat (CUG) Competitive Entrance Exam

Central University of Gujarat, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament 2009 (No. 25 of 2009) came into existence on 3rd March 2009 and is fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India through UGC. The university currently operates from campuses in Sector 29 and 30, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admissions to its academic programmes. An Online Entrance Test would be conducted at 17 Centres across India. Interested candidates can apply online in the university website from 25th May 2015 to 20th June 2015. The Online Entrance Test will be conducted on 05th July 2015.

The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in the different programmes / courses such as M.A., M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., M.Phil. & Ph.D. Programmes for the Academic year 2015-16. Admission of various courses in Central University of Gujarat is based on Entrance Examination conducted by the University. Interested candidates can apply online in the university website from 25th May 2015 to 20th June 2015. The Online Entrance Test will be conducted on 05th July 2015.

Reservation Policy:

The University follows the reservation policies of the Government of India / UGC as issued and amended from time to time.

  1. Three percent of the seats are reserved for PWD candidates in all the programmes of study. The University follows the rules pertaining to other benefits accruing to PWD candidates in accordance with UGC/MHRD rules.
