Central Universities Common Entrance Test ( CUCET )

Central University of Tamil Nadu ( CUTN ) was established by an Act of Parliament (No.25 of 20 March 2009).The University was inaugurated on 30 September 2009 by Kapil Sibal who laid the foundation stone, in the presence of M Karunanidhi and M. K. Stalin. Presently CUTN is functioning in a temporary campus with an area of 55000 sq.ft. in the Thiruvarur District Collectorate. Central university of Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test ( CUCET ) conduct the Entrance Examination for the Integrated M. Sc course, M.A Course, M. Tech Course, Ph. Central University of Tamil Nadu application form and fee Challan can be downloaded from the University’s website.

Application fee:

Payment of Fee may be done through IOB Deposit Challan / NEFT. Application Fee is Rs. 500/-. For Women, PWD and SC / ST candidates the application fee is Rs.300/-. The last date for submitting the filled in applications to the University is 5^th May, 2015.

The admission to the programs is for the residual seats after admission of candidate through CUCET 20152. Enclose your attested 10 +2 / HSC / Intermediate / UG mark sheet along with the application form

The Supplementary Entrance Test is not open to those who have registered and appeared for CUCET 2015

The admission will be strictly on the basis of GOI norms. OBC ( Non Creamy Layer ) candidates have to produce appropriate certificates , the format of which is available in the University website www.cutn.ac.in.
