Haryana Common Engineering Entrance Test ( CEET )

National Institute of Technology ( NIT ) conducts the Haryana Common Engineering Entrance Test. This exam is conducted for admitting students for B.Tech., B.E. and B.Arch courses. The candidates are admitted to various government as well as private institutes on the basis of this test. The Haryana Common Engineering Entrance Test is usually conducted in the month of March. Each year, many aspirants appear for the entrance to get admission in some of the most prestigious institutes in India. The aspirants after completing the course have an opportunity to get placed in reputed firms. The admission is solely on the basis of merit.

 

 

 

 

Haryana CEET 2021 Online Application Form

Details :

Haryana state has decided not to conduct separate state entrance test known as Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET) for admissions to AICTE approved B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch. courses offered by universities through their designated departments, Government / Government Aided / Private unaided minority & non – minority institutions located in the State. Common Engineering Entrance Test Admissions will be made on the basis of merit in the AIEEE through Online Off – Campus counseling by NIC.

Eligibility criteria:

·         The candidate must have passed the Class XII exam from recognized University / Board with a compulsory subject combination of Mathematics and Physics.

·         As per the Haryana 2013 Counselling Eligibility criteria, the candidate has to choose one of the following subjects also: Chemistry / Biology / Bio – Technology / Computer Science.

·         The candidate must have a valid JEE Main 2013 Score on the basis of which the admissions will be done.

Reservation of Seats:

·         There will be 85% of Haryana 2013 Reservation of Seats for the resident candidates of Haryana.

·         Rest of the 15% seats will be reserved for the All India Candidates.

·         There will also be reservation of seats for the candidates of reserved categories viz. SC, ST, OBC, KM etc.

·         To claim seats under Haryana 2013 Reservation of Seats, the candidates have to present a valid proof of belonging to reserved categories which must be presented at the time of counselling in original.

·         The percentage of reservation will be as per the latest regulations of the Govt.

·         Admission procedure:

·         The Haryana 2013 Entrance Exam Admission procedure will involve the admission of candidates on the basis of their JEE Main 2013 Score.

·         The candidates have to go on the websites mentioned above and register themselves for the counselling.

·         After that, they have to submit the counseling fee and wait for the counselling rounds to begin.

·         Then the online choice filling will be done and finally the Haryana 2013 Admission procedure will end with the seat allocation.

Qualification criteria :

Candidates who are appearing for the entrance exams must have cleared their class 10+2 exams with at least of 50% marks. The students must have learned Chemistry, English and Mathematics in addition to Physics. Those candidates who are in the last year can apply for the CEET exam too. At the time of applying, the candidates must be atleast 17 years old.

Exam Pattern :

The examination will be of a period of 3 hours. The mode of instruction will be English. The questions will be of the objective type. The question paper will include topics on Mathematics and Physics. A variety of questions in Chemistry will also form part of the paper. Each topic will hold 60 marks.
