Kalasalingam University Entrance Exam

Kalasalingam University conducts an entrance examination every year, for enrolling students to undergraduate courses in the field of engineering, namely, Bachelor of Technology ( B.Tech ), Architecture, Science, Arts, Management, Computer Applications, Education and PG Courses – MBA, MCA, and M.Tech. Kalasalingam University was started in 1984 as ‘Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Engineering’ ( AKCE ). In 2006, it got recognition from University Grants Commission ( UGC ), after which, it was renamed as ‘Kalasalingam University’. After the entrance test, a merit list is prepared on the ground of candidates’ marks in the test and academic performances. Short listed candidates must appear in the counseling conducted by the University. Now KLU had announced the Common Entrance Examination for the Academic year-2015.

For UG and PG:

Advertisements are given regarding issue of Application forms for common entrance examinations, important dates etc., in leading news papers and also notified in the Kalasalingam website.

Issue of Application Form       

Application Form along with Information Brochure can be obtained at the University on payment of Rs. 600/- by cash in person

Application form can be obtained by sending a Demand Draft ( DD ) for Rs.650/- drawn in favor of Kalasalingam University payable at Rajapalayam to  Dean ( Admissions ) with a request letter.

Application form can also be downloaded from our University website and the filled application form can be submitted to Dean ( Admissions ) along with a DD for Rs. 600/-.

Common Entrance Examinations are conducted in major cities of India.

Admission to the Under Graduate, Post Graduate Courses is done on the basis of performance of Entrance Examination

An admission for B-Arch Course is done on the basis of candidates performance in the NATA examination conducted by CoA and in the performance of +2 examinations.

Lateral Entry

Students with an average of 60% marks in pre-final and final semester put together in a three year Diploma Courses in the relevant area are eligible to apply.

Applications are also being obtained from the following Post offices on Payment of Rs. 600/- by Cash.
