Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) Entrance Examination - 2014

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) for the year 2014 registration dates has been announced. It is an entrance test for admission to UG courses in United State of America. It is an effective tool in measuring the readiness of a person, who is trying to get admitted in the colleges.

 Main SAT exam is conducted for admission into UG courses in most of the colleges and universities in US.

 Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is the standardized test for college admissions the United States. The exam is important and its scores are accepted by almost all colleges for getting admission. It is developed, published and scored by Educational Testing Service. Performing well in SAT exam may help a student to secure admission to their dream college.

 The current SAT Reasoning Test, introduced in 2005, takes three hours and forty-five minutes to finish, and costs $49 ($75 International), excluding late fees. Possible scores range from 600 to 2400, combining test results from three 800-point sections (Mathematics, Critical Reading, and Writing).

SAT Reasoning Test

The SAT Reasoning Test helps in measuring student’s critical thinking. The SAT assesses how a student can analyze and solve problems that are need in college. Each section of the SAT is scored on a scale of 200-800, with two writing sub scores for multiple-choice and the essay.

SAT is a standard way of measuring a student's ability to do college-level work. Because courses and grading standards vary widely from school to school, scores on standardized tests, like the SAT, help colleges compare a student's academic achievements with those of students from different schools.
