National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test

The National Institute of Design (NID) is a design school in Ahmedabad, India. The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. NID is recognised by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the government of India, as a scientific and industrial design research organisation.

NID DAT Exam Pattern 2019 for Mains

  • The final stage, NID DAT 2019 mains, will comprise tests in different formats such as drawing/sketching, hands-on model making, group discussions, presentations, etc.
  • The language of the question paper will be English. It will be of 100 marks.
  • The tests will be conducted over two days - May 19, 2019.
