Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology ( IIST ) Engineering Entrance Examination

The Indian Institute of Space and Technology (IIST) will conduct IIST B.Tech Admission 2018 on the basis of JEE Advanced 2018. The application form of IIST B.Tech 2018 will be released on June 6 in an online mode. The last date for filling and submission of application form has not been announced. Before filling the online form, candidates must ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of IIST B.Tech 2018. There are a total of 140 seats in the undergraduate engineering programmes and the dual degree that is being offered at IIST. Male candidates belonging to the general and OBC category will have to pay Rs 600 for the application form, while the female candidates for the same will have to pay Rs 300 for registering for IIST B.Tech Admission. Both male and female candidates belonging to SC, ST, PD will have to pay Rs 300 for IIST 2018 application form.

IIST B.Tech Rank List 2018

The rank list for IIST B. Tech 2018 will be prepared on the basis of the aggregate marks scored by the candidates in JEE Advanced 2018.

In case of a tie between candidates, the following steps will be taken.

  • Candidate scoring more marks in Maths will be placed higher in the rank list
  • Candidate who scores more marks in Physics will be ranked higher
  • If the tie still persists, candidate who has ranked higher in JEE Main 2018 in that particular category, they would be ranked ahead of others

IIST B.Tech Cutoff 2018

IIST B.Tech 2018 cutoff is the minimum marks which the candidates require to score in JEE Advanced 2018 to be eligible to apply for admission in the B.Tech programmes that are offered at IIST.
