Counselling For IPU CET 2018

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test (GGS IPU CET ) is a national level entrance exam conducted every year by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) for admission into B.Tech./ B.Com / MCA /LLB /MBA /BBA courses offered in colleges of Delhi NCR. The university offers admission into one of the top-ranked courses in the country and is extremely competitive. 

Counselling Details for IPU CET 2018:

1. The programs for which Common Entrance Tests will be conducted, the University will prepare a list of qualified candidates separately for each CET Code in order of merit based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the said Tests.
2. The result of Common Entrance Tests will be displayed on the University’s Website (www.ipu.ac.in) on the dates specified. The University will declare inter-se ranks for qualified candidates only.
3. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates in this regard. All the admissions will be made through counsellings to be conducted by the University as per the procedure prescribed in this admission brochure, strictly on the basis of inter-se merit of the qualified candidates.
4. The university will be conducting online counselling for eleven programs and also offline counselling for the rest of the programs. On-line Counselling/Admission will be held for eleven programs such as B.Tech, Lateral Entry to B.Tech for diploma Holders/Lateral Entry to B.Tech for B.Sc. Grads, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, LLB, B.Ed (Excluding B.Ed. Spl. Edu.), BJMC, B.COM (H) on the basis of merit of rank obtained in the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018. However, the candidates who will qualify CET 2018 must also fulfil the eligibility criteria of the qualifying examinations.
5. The Counselling/Admission for all the other programs will be conducted offline by the University for all CET qualified candidates. However, the candidates must also fulfil the eligibility criteria of the qualifying examination.
6. The IPU CET 2018 Counselling will be conducted in three rounds. The Counselling Fee's for IPU CET 2018 will be Rs. 40,000, which has to be paid by the candidate before or at the time of First Round of Counselling.

Venue of Counselling:

1. For all programs for which offline counselling will be held: Venue of counselling will be notified in the counselling schedule on the University’s website (www.ipu.ac.in).
2. The dates of counselling are tentative and are liable to change. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the University website regularly after the declaration of CET 2018 for any unforeseen changes.

Refund Procedure for Online Counselling:

On submission of withdrawal option online in the candidate's login ID for withdrawal of admission within stipulated dates, as after first counselling, second counselling, and as the procedure for withdrawal notified in the counselling schedule(s), an amount of Rs. 1,000/, will be deducted and a refund will be carried out accordingly for eligible cases.
