Avinashilingam Engineering Entrance Examination Details - 2014:

AAEEE (All India Avinashilingam University Engineering Entrance Exam) is an entry level entrance test conducted by Avinashilingam University for women for admission into Bachelor of Engineering (BE) programs offered by the University’s Faculty of Engineering. This entrance exam enables the women candidates to take admission into engineering programs at the University’s Faculty of Engineering.

Eligibility Criteria for Avinashilingam Engineering Entrance Exam :

Eligibility Criteria for B.E admission:

A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Biology / Computer science. At least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together (45% in case of reserved category).

Candidates appearing for the 12th examinations in March / April 2013 are also eligible to apply.

Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1991 are eligible, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years i.e, who were born on or after 1st July, 1986 are eligible to apply for AAEEE 2013. They should have studied in regular, full time, formal stream in the school.

Eligibility Criteria for B.E (Lateral Entry) admission:

The candidate should have passed diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

How to Apply for Avinashilingam Engineering Entrance Exam :

Application forms and prospectus will be available at the office of Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore – 641 043 on payment of Rs 600/- by cash or by post by sending a request to the Registrar along with a DD for Rs 650/- (For SC/ST students only Rs 300/- by cash or Rs 350/- by post on production of attested Xerox copies of community certificate) drawn in favor of “The Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women”, payable at Coimbatore, or can be downloaded from the website: www.avinuty.ac.in

Application form duly filled in, in the candidates’ own handwriting, with the attested copies of following should reach the Registrar, Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore – 641 043.

Necessary documents to be enclosed:

1.            Proof for the Date of Birth

2.            H.Sc or equivalent mark sheet

3.            Transfer and Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studies

4.            Medical Certificate

5.            Community Certificate

6.            Passport size photographs – 3 numbers

7.            Migration Certificate

Paper Pattern for Avinashilingam Engineering Entrance Exam

AAEEE entrance exam comprises of objective type multiple choice questions. The questions will be based on the syllabus of Class XII. Exam will have questions from the subjects such as Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. There will be negative marking system where 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
