The promulgation of employees State Insurance Act, 1948(ESI Act), by the Parliament was the first major legislation on social Security for workers in independent India. It was a time when the industry was still in a nascent stage and the country was heavily dependent on an assortment of imported goods from the developed or fast developing countries. The ESI Act 1948 encompasses certain health related eventualities that the workers are generally exposed to; such as sickness, maternity, temporary or permanent disablement, Occupational disease or death due to employment injury, resulting in loss of wages or earning capacity-total or partial.

Employee State Insurance Corporation Model Hospital (ESICMH), Ahmedabad invited applications for the recruitment to the post of Senior Resident and Part Time Contractual Specialist. Eligible candidates can attend walk in interview along necessary documents from 10 July 2017 to 18 July 2017.

Eligibility Criteria for Senior Resident & Part Time Specialist Posts

Educational Qualifications

Senior Residents (Under 3 Years Residency Scheme) - Post Graduate Degree in concerned speciality from government recognized Universities or colleges.

Senior Residents against GDMO (Under 1 Year Residency Scheme) - Post Graduate Degree in concerned speciality from government recognized Universities or colleges. If such candidates are not available in Particular speciality those without PG qualification having atleast 02 years of experience after MBBS out of which one year Junior Residency in the concerned speciality from a Government Hospital can be considered.

Part Time Specialists - PG Degree or equivalent (after MBBS) with minimum 03 years of experience/PG Diploma with minimum 05 years experience in respective speciality.

Age Limit

Senior Residents – not exceeding 35 Years

Part Time Specialists– not exceeding 64 Years
