Indian Hotel Academy ( IHA ) Delhi Entrance Examination

Indian Hotel Academy (IHA) conducts the IHA 2018 to select students for Hotel Management programs. IHA had been established in the year 2008 and is operated by experienced hospitality professionals. IHA has some UGC approved degree courses and diploma programs in Hotel Management. To get admission into the IHA, one has to take the IHA entrance exam. Doing so will enable them to get admission into this recognized institute and has been granted recognition from many universities including KSOU, MGU, SMU, etc. along with being a member of the Gautam Budh Educational Society fostering academic excellence and creativity.

To get admission into the IHA all students have to get through a written entrance test based on general competency questions. The IHA 2018 comprises of various subjects divided into sections. Once a desired score is attained by the candidate, it is followed with personal interviews conducted by the expert panel of Indian Hotel Academy.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission  

Combined State Engineering Service Special Recruitment Examination – 2007 and Combined State Engineering Service General Recruitment Examination – 2007

Pay Scale :  RS.8000-13500/-

Educational Qualifications :  Degree of Engineering from any recognized University or Equivalent ( for the posts which are not mentioned in the following list ).

Assistant Engineer ( Civil ) Irrigation Department.

a.       A Degree in Civil Engineering from an institution or an University recognised by the Govt. Or

b.      Be a qualified associate Member of the Institution of Engineers ( India ) Civil Engineering Branch.

c.       A candidate wo has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Or

d.      Obtained a “B” certificate of N.C.C., Or

e.       Successfully completed one year training as Trainee shall other things being equal be given preference.

f.        Assistant Engineer ( Mechanical ) in Irrigation Department

g.       A Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an institution an University recognized by the Government Or

h.       be a qualified Associate Member of the institution of Engineers ( India ) Mechanical Engineering Branch.

Preferential Qualification :

i.         A candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years Or

j.        Obtained a B certificate of National Cadet Corps, Or

k.      Successfully completed one year training as trainee shall other things being equal be given preference.

Assistant Engineer ( Civil ) U.P. Dev. Authority Centralised Services. A degree in Civil Engineering from any recognised College or University of India or abroad or any Diploma recognised by institution of Engineers ( India ) on the basis of which the candidate be exempted from section A and B examination of Associate Membership. Or must have passed Section A and B Civil Engineering of associate membership of Institutions of Engineers of India.

Preferential Qualification :

1.      A candidate who has served in the Territorial army for a minimum period of two years, or

2.      Obtained a B certificate of N.C.C. shall other things being equal, be given preference.

Assistant Director in Electrical Safety Directorate. A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto Or has passed Associated Membership examination in Section “A” and “B” in Electrical Engineering from institution of Engineers ( India ).

Preferential Qualification :

i.         A candidate who has; Served in the Territorial Army minimum period of two years, Or

ii.       Obtained a “B” certificate of the National Cadet Corps, shall other things being equal, be given preference.

U.P Agriculture Service Class II ( Engineering ). Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a University established by Law in India or a qualification recognised by Govt, as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification :

a)      Post Graduate Degree in Agricultural Engineering from a University established by Law in India Or a qualification recognised by Govt, as equivalent thereto.

b)      Served in the Territorial Army Minimum period of two years, Or (3) Obtained a “B” certificate of the National Cadet Corps, shall other things being equal, be given preference.

Assistant Engineer ( Civil ) Ground Water Department. A candidate must posses Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from recognized Institution Or a University established by law in India Or Associate Member of the Institution of / Engineers ( India ) ( Civil Engineering Branch ) Or a Degree recognised by the Government as equivalent thereto.Preferential Qualification :

                                 i.            Post-Graduate Diploma in Hydrology,

                               ii.            Two years experience of Ground Water investigation and exploration Or,

                              iii.            Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Or

                             iv.            Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall other things being equal, be given preference.

Assistant Engineers ( Mechanical ) Ground Water Department .A candidate must posses Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution Or a University established by Law in India Or Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers ( India ) ( Civil Engineering Branch ) Or Degree recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification :

                                 i.            Post-Graduate Diploma in Hydrology.

                               ii.            Two year experience of Ground Water investigation and exploration Or,

                              iii.            Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, Or

                             iv.            Obtained a “B” certificate of National Cadet Corps shall other things being equal, be given preference.
Note : For the post of Irrigation Department. A year wise list of persons who have successfully completed the prescribed training shall be maintained by the Department. The person trained earlier shall be treated senior to a person trained later meaning thereby that amongst the trainees also the preference shall be given to person trained earlier.

Age Limit :

Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 35 years on July 1, 2007 i.e. they must have not been born earlier than July 2, 1972 and not later than July 1, 1986.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit :

1.      Upper age limit in case of candidates who is trainee, shall be greater by one year for Irrigation Dependents.

2.      For candidates of Scheduled Castes of U.P. / Scheduled Tribes of U.P. and other Backward Class of U.P, Department of Freedom Fighters of U.P. Physically Handicapped persons of UP. and Ex Servicemen of U.P. the upper age limit will be relaxable upto 5 years.

3.      Upper age limit shall be greater by 5 years also for the skilled players of classified games of National and Inter National level in accordance with GO. No. 22/21/1983- Karmik-2, dated 28-11-1985. The skilled players must obtained certificate from prescribed authority and must enclose the certificate with their conventional forms. The candidates claiming benefit of two categories shall be given only one concession whichever is more beneficial to them.
