International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) conducts an Electronic Common Hotel Admission Test (eCHAT) to offer admission to candidates in hotel management programmes on offer by the institute. This entrance test is also known by the name of – Combined Hospitality Aptitude Test.

IIHM entrance exam is a national level test. After clearing IIHM eCHAT, candidates are further shortlisted for admissions on the basis of their performance in the group discussion and personal interview round.

IIHM eCHAT is conducted online and the aptitude report of the aspirants is emailed to them within 24 hours. It may be noted that eCHAT is organised by Edexel in association with IIHM.

Candidates are tested on various grounds in IIHM entrance exam. The test paper for IIHM contains many different styles of questions in order to test the aptitude as well as skills of aspirants. Some of the question formats in which candidates will be tested in IIHM are as follows:

· Multiple choices

· True/False

· Text fill-in-the-blank

· Numeric fill-in-the-blank

· Multiple selections (Student can select multiple answers in such questions)

· Picture-click multiple choice

· IIHM eCHAT exam pattern is such that it contains objective type multiple-choice questions.

· It will comprise of language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and interpretation, intelligence and critical reasoning, awareness of Indian & Global Economy.

Candidates will have to attempt 45 questions in a given time duration of 60 minutes in IIHM entrance exam 2018.

Candidates will receive their IIHM eCHAT scorecard within 24 hours of them appearing for the entrance test.
