Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test

AP LAWCET 2019 Exam date has been released. Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test will be conducted to offer admission in 3 years and 5 years of Law courses. It is a state level entrance exam which is conducted once in a year. It is managed by the Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Anantapur on the behalf of APSCHE, Hyderabad. AP LAWCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility norms for the examination are set by APSCHE. Before applying, check the standards mentioned below:

On the Basis of Nationality

  • Candidates belonging to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
  • Candidates whose parents have studied in Andhra Pradesh or any one parent is a domicile of AP.

Educational Qualification for LLB (3 years)

  • a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration from any discipline
  • a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (40% for SC/ST candidates)
  • final year candidates are also eligible to apply for AP LAWCET

Educational Qualification for LLB (5 years)

  • Intermediate graduates or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
  • a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam (40% for SC/ST candidates)
  • Final year candidates are also eligible to apply for the law examination

AP LAWCET Age Limit

  • There is no prescribed upper age limit for AP LAWCET 2019.
  • The minimum age to apply for the exam is 21 years.
