Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) Post Graduate Law Entrance Examination Courses Offered – 2015 :

For LLM ( Master’s of Law ) / LLM ( HRDE ) Course:

Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) has conducted Post Graduate Entrance Test ( PET ) for the admission of LLM courses during the academic year 2015-16.

For the purpose of admissions in two different kinds of LL.M Courses, Banaras Hindu University conducts separate Postgraduate Entrance Tests ( PET ) during May-June in every year.

Admissions are made according to merit of the PET, subject to fulfilling of eligibility requirements and availability of seats. In BHU there are two kinds of LL.M. courses as under:

LL.M.

This course is also known as LL. M.( General ) because within the University this course comes under the category of ‘General Course’ and it is a non self financing course.

Duration of the Course: Four Semesters ( Two Years )

No. of Seats: 38

Note:

In addition to the aforesaid total 38 seats , there exists10 percent Supernumerary Seats under category of ‘ Paid Seats’:

LL.M. Course in Human Rights & Duties Education ( HRDE ):

Duration of the Course: Four Semesters ( Two Years ),

No. of Seats : 15

Note:

LL.M. ( HRDE ) is basically a self financing course ( it comes under the category of ‘Special Course’ in the University ) and annual fee of this course, in addition to the regular University fee, is Rs. 30,000/-( Thirty Thousand ) per annum.
