North Eastern Hill University Law Entrnace Examination

North-Eastern Hill University was set up by an Act of Parliament and notified on 19th July 1973. The objectives of the University, as laid down in the act, are "to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit; to pay special attention to the improvement of the social and economic conditions and welfare of the people of the hill areas of the North-eastern region, and in particular, the intellectual, academic and cultural advancement".

For B.A.LL.B.(Hons).& LL.M. Programme :

Application in the prescribed form are invited for admission to the courses of study in the North Eastern Hill University for B.A.LL.B.(Hons).& LL.M. Programme commencing from August, 2015.

Exam Patten:

For B.A.LL.B.(Hons):

Standard Of Exam :The standard of admission test, if any, shall be of class 12 (10 +2 system) or its equivalent.

Duration : The test will be of 2-hour duration with

Type Of Questions : Multiple choice / objective / short answer type questions,

Covering Subject : It shall cover broadly four areas : General English, General Knowledge,Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.

For LL.M:

A merit list shall be prepared based on the GATE score and / or entrance examination conducted by concerned department.
