AIMS Test for Management Admissions ( ATMA )

Association of Indian Management Schools ( AIMS ) conducted the AIMS Test for Management Admissions ( ATMA). ATMA is a single-window entrance test to enroll students to the various management programmes run by the member management institutes of the AIMS. AIMS Test for Management Admissions ( ATMA ) is conducted for those candidates, who want to get enrolled into various management institutes of India. The test is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for postgraduate courses in management and computer applications - Master of Business.

ATMA 2021 Exam Pattern

ATMA 2018 Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern for ATMA 2018 is described below:

  • Mode of Exam: The exam will be conducted in online mode.
  • Type of Questions: Questions are of objective type.
  • Number of Questions: There will be 180 questions which are divided into 6 sections.
  • Duration of exam: The duration of the exam is 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct answer, 1 mark will be given.
  • Negative Marking: There is the provision of negative marking. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Sections of ATMA exam paper:

  • Analytical Reasoning Skills: This section of the paper analyses the logical thinking capacity of candidates. Aspirants must make sure that they strengthen their capability of analyzing situations, only then will they be able to select the correct answer. Having the correct approach and right frame of mind will help a candidate extensively in finding the answer to the questions.
  • Quantitative Skills: In order to excel in this section, candidates will have to practice on a regular basis. Questions related to probability, percentages, time and work, permutation and combination, coordinate geometry, average, profit and loss, mensuration, ratio and proportion variations, interest, geometry, inequalities, time speed and distance, progression, logarithm, set theory, quadratic equation, and functions are frequently asked in ATMA exam.
  • Verbal skills: This is a section which evaluates the English skills of a candidate. Candidates an expect questions based on sentence completion, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence correction, to name but a few.
