Bharath University was established in 1984 as Bharath Institute of Science and Technology. The institute was awarded the deemed university status in 2003 and hence the name was changed to Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research. In September 2006, it was renamed as Bharath University as per a new decree issued by the University Grants Commission enabling deemed universities to change their name to "university". Admission to this program will be on the basis of performance in Bharath Common Admission Test ( BCAT ) conducted by Bharath University. However candidates with valid score in GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, TANCET, and CMAT also can apply and will be considered for admission. There are 3 ways to apply to any one of the programs in Faculty of Engineering and Technology

The downloaded PDF application form has to be filled and couriered along with DD for Rs.900 drawn in favour of Bharath Uniniversity payable at Chennai either to University (or)

to the Corporate Office.
