Birla Institute of Management Technology ( BIMTECH ) was established in 1988 under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art and Culture, and supported by Birla group of companies.

BIMTECH - 2015 offers admissions to its two year full time PGDM program and other sectoral programs namely, PGDM (International Business), PGDM (Retail Management) & PGDM (Insurance Business Management) and PGDM at its Bhubaneswar campus for the 2015-17 batch.

Also candidates can download the Information Bulletin 2015 and apply online for admissions for the 27th Academic Session 2015 through official website.

Admission for the year 2015 is based on CAT 2014 / XAT 2015 / MAT 2014-15 / GMAT 2014-15 / CMAT 2014-15 Exam scores.

BIMTECH 2021 Application Procedure

Application Procedure for Birla Institute of Management Technology ( BIMTECH ) MBA Entrance Exam – 2015

The application fee amount is Rs. 1500/- which can be made through two different modes.

Cash payment - Cash payment at BIMTECH, Admission office or at the specified branch of T.I.M.E. / Bulls Eye / IMS learning Centre ( please check branch details through the link given on the BIMTECH website ) – All the candidates intending to pay the fee in cash, should pay Rs. 1500/- before applying online.

After payment of cash, the candidate will be provided with a copy of admission brochure and a scratch card. The scratch card contains a 16 digits PIN number.

It is mandatory for the candidate to provide this PIN number in the appropriate box of the online form.

Debit / Credit Card – Candidates intending to pay online can pay ( Rs. 1500/- ) through Debit / Credit card.

After applicant registration, the email and password given by applicant is the login id and password. This login details will be used for filling the admission form and checking the status of the application later.

Please keep a note of your username and password. You will need it to check your application form status.

In case you have any problems filling the application form or making online payment, please get in touch at the official website.

Take a print out of the filled-in form. Candidate must carry the printed form along with all the relevant documents while attending Personal Interview.

While applying online, do not use the ‘Back’ button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page to move from one page to another.

If candidate uses 'Back' button on tool-bar, the page shall be re-set and data already filled shall be lost. Further, when you have completed applying online, close all the open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal details

Candidates are advised to see the complete details filled by pressing 'Application View' button before submitting the application.

Once application is submitted, editing shall be allowed only in limited fields such as programme applied, graduation marks, graduation percentage, CAT / XAT / MAT / GMAT / CMAT percentile, Email id, phone no. & correspondence address only.

Candidates are supposed to fill in all the personal information as stated in the form.

The candidate should enter the full name as given in the CAT / XAT / MAT / GMAT / CMAT ( through which qualifying exam, he / she is applying ).

A link will be provided for uploading the scanned images of photograph, while applying online. Please read the instruction provided on the form while uploading the images. The image size should not exceed the limit as mentioned in the form.

Differently-abled / Physically handicapped: .Candidate has to produce Certificate of Physical Disability issued by CMO or Civil Surgeon of any Government Hospital authorized to issue such certificates in prescribed format for the purpose uploaded on official website.

To be produced at the time of GD & PI ( February 2015 ) failing which the applicant will be considered under 'General Category' of Merit seats

Economically Weaker Class: The family income of the applicant from all sources should not be more than Rs. 2,00,000/- p.a.

The candidate shall be required to submit any one of the following in support of his / her claim for seats under EWS Category.

The applicant’s family should hold an income certificate issued by the SDM or any other officer authorized in this behalf by the Revenue Department stating that the total income of the family is not more than 2,00,000/- p.a.

OR

The applicant or family should hold a valid BPL Ration Card mentioning the name of the applicant.

OR

The applicant or family should hold a valid AAY Ration Card mentioning the name of the applicant.

To be produced at the time of GD & PI ( February 2015 ) failing which the applicant will be considered under 'General Category' of Merit seats

On the date of applying, an applicant should be either:

Appearing in Final Year Graduation Examination ( 1st attempt ) in summer 2015.

OR

Has a 'pass' result of Graduation i.e. no uncleared paper( s ).

Candidates should enter the full name of the institute last attended. Appropriate qualifying examination details should be selected from the list provided. Candidates can enter the Percentage or CGPA.

Percentage – In case, examining body does not use Grading System, candidates are advised to fill up percentage of marks obtained into appropriate box.

CGPA – In case examining body uses Grading System, the candidates are advised to fill up CGPA on a scale of in the appropriate box.

However, the candidates shall be required to submit proof of equivalence of percentage of marks with CGPA at the time of GD / PI / write up for the purpose of determining their eligibility for the program / course opted.
