Common Management Admission Test ( CMAT )

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

The CMAT is a three-hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Awareness.

This test facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs. The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The CMAT 2019 eligibility criteria have been prescribed by National Testing Agency (NTA). All aspiring CMAT test takers should meet the below mentioned eligibility criteria of CMAT 2019.

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.
  • Graduates in any discipline from recognised institutes can apply for CMAT
  • Final year students of Graduate Degree courses (10+2+3) whose results would be declared before the admission procedure starts for the academic year 2019-20 are also eligible for the computer-based online CMAT examination.

Applicants must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before applying for the CMAT 2019 exam. In case they do not fulfil all the eligibility criteria, their candidature will get cancelled during the admission phase.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has prescribed the following major points that determine the AICTE-CMAT eligibility criteria:
