The Centre for Management Studies ( CMS ) is the easternmost management institute of India and also among the youngest. It came into being with the formal notification of Dibrugarh University about the establishment of the Centre on November 25, 2002. The first batch MBA classes started from February 3, 2003. The Dibrugarh University Campus is located at Rajabheta, spread over an area of 500 acres and is at a distance of 6 kms away from Dibrugarh Town ( 27° 29' North Latitude and 94° 55' East Longitude, Local Time is + 49 min 40 sec of IST ) on National Highway No. 37. It is in the serene and natural surroundings full of greenery on a well-developed open area providing an excellent environment for the pursuit of knowledge and development of mental horizons.

Dibrugarh is the district headquarters of Dibrugarh district of Assam. It is an important town in the entire north-eastern region from an industrial, educational, cultural and strategic view point. No wonder, it is well connected by Road, Rail and Air to the rest of the country and to the capital city of Assam, Guwahati. The Centre is equipped with adequate infrastructure for enhancing the learning experience of students as well as faculties. CMS offers, suitably furnished classrooms equipped with audio-visual aids to ensure an excellent atmosphere for learning.

Centre For Management Studies Dibrugarh University ( CMSDU  ) MBA Entrance Examination Admission Procedure – 2015:

The admission procedure will be based on the performance in Written Test , Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Written Test:

Candidates have to take the MAT ( Management Aptitude Test ) examination conducted by All India Management Association / CAT (Common Admission Test) conducted by IIMs or CMAT ( Common Management Admission Test ) conducted by AICTE. Sponsored and / or foreign candidates are exempted from appearing in the Written Test.

Group Discussion and Personal Interview:

Candidates who have obtained a minimum MAT / CAT / CMAT score ( fixed at our discretion ) or already have a valid MAT / CAT / CMAT Score ( as fixed by us ) or otherwise qualified as mentioned above will be called for a GD and PI.

The final selection will be based on the candidate's overall performance.
