Gauhati University MBA Entrance Examination

The Gauhati University Institute of North East India Studies was established on 1st February, 2010 with the aim of studying language, culture, communication, society etc. with an interdisciplinary approach. Research studies and several professional studies are the goal of the GUINEIS; G.U. Gauhati University receives Annual Financial Grants from the Government of Assam and Development Grants from the University Grants Commission apart from different funding agencies like CSIR, DST DBT, NEC, ICAR, ICHR, MAKAIAS, among others, who sponsor various research projects. Gauhati University had announced the Entrance Examination for Master of Business Administration ( MBA ). Selection will be based on written test conducted by University. If candidates those who are obtaining not less than 75percentile in All India Common Entrance Test-after May 2014 such as CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT or CMAT are exempted from written examination. They are directly called for an Interview / Group Discussion. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the Academic year-2015.

Gauhati University 2021 Features

Gauhati University MBA Entrance Examination Selection Procedure-2015:

Eligible applicant will have to appear in a written test, meant to evaluate their quantitative aptitude, data interpretation, general awareness and proficiency in English, to be conducted by the Gauhati University.

All applicants fulfilling the above eligibility criteria may come to the written test to be held on Saturday, February 21th 2015 at 1 pm.

They are requested to collect their admit cards from the Department of Business Administration, Gauhati University before the written test.

Candidates qualifying in the written test will be permitted to appear in the Group Discussion and   Interview

Group Discussion and Interview be held on 27th, 28th February & 1th of March 2015.

The final selection will be based on the applicant’s overall performance in the written test, group discussion and interview.

Candidates who have appeared in any one of the All India Common Entrance Test-after May 2014 for   admission to MBA programme, viz. CAT, MAT, ATMA, XAT or CMAT and scored marks not less than 75 percentile are exempted from appearing in the written test conducted by Gauhati University and shall be permitted to appear in the Group Discussion and interview for final selection.
