Hyderabad Business School Aptitude Test ( HBSAT )

Hyderabad Business School Aptitude Test (HBSAT) is conducted by Hyderabad, GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus. The exam is a gateway for admission to two year full time MBA Programme approved by UGC, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi.

Candidates having valid MAT/GMAT/CAT/XAT/ATMA/NMAT-2017 scores are exempted from HBSAT 2018. The final selection of candidates will be based on the aggregate of the best test score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview scores. The application forms of HBSAT are out now and interested candidates can fill the application form. Candidates can fill the application form before the last date of submission. Application Form is only available on the official site of the Hyderabad Business School.

HBSAT 2021 Counselling Procedure

HBSAT 2018 Counselling:

Counselling will be conducted at Institute level. Only those candidates will be called for counselling who have successfully cleared the admission test. Students will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores in HBSAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT or ATMA.

Apart from the entrance exams scores, students have to participate in group discussion followed by personal interview constitutes the final level of selection. Final selected students have to make an initial payment in order to confirm the admission. Candidates Managerial skills and communication skills are tested in Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

Students must bring the following list of documents at the time of counselling for verification:

  1. 10th and 12th Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination
  2. School Leaving/ Transfer Certificate
  3. Migration Certificate
  4. Admit Card of HBSAT 2018
  5. Category Certificate (if applicable)
  6. Class X pass certificate for verification of age
