Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management ( IITTM ) Admission Aptitude Test

Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), an autonomous organization of Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, is one of the premier Institutes in the country offering education, training, research and consultancy in the field of tourism, travel and allied sectors. IITTM was established in 1983 and presently IITTM campuses are located at Gwalior, Bhubaneswar, Goa, Noida and Nellore. IITTM is a founder member of UN-ESCAP promoted Network of Asia-Pacific Educational and Training Institute in Tourism ( APETIT ). IITTM conducts Admission Aptitude Test  ( IITTM AAT ) for admission to two year full-time Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) ( Tourism ) degree for learners to enable them to acquire the right skill set with ample flexibility to adapt to employing organization’s needs. The admission to IITTM is a four-step procedure:

i. Applying

ii. Screening for admission

iii. Admission for PGDM

Screening for admission

a. Admission would be strictly on the basis of merit prepared on the basis of performance in CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / ATMA ( 70% ) ( best of all the submitted scores ), Group Discussion ( 15% ) and Personal Interview ( 15% ).

b. A candidate to be considered for admission would have to participate in all the above components of the admission process. Inter-se-merit will be determined on the basis of the Moderation Formula, practiced by the institute.

c. In case of two or more candidates has scored equal marks, the inter-se-merit of such candidate shall be determined based on older in age.

d. The eligibility for admission will be Graduation ( 50% for UR / OBC and 45% for SC / ST / PH ) in any stream from a recognized University / Institute.

Note:

For reserved category students, the candidate must produced the valid category certificate issued by the competent authority for SC / OBC / PH candidates while for OBC candidate, the prescribed certificate would be under non-creamy layer issued within the last three years.

e. Candidates appearing for the final examination of graduation are also eligible to apply, on their own risk subject to condition that they would submit the result of graduation with requisite percentage of marks by October 31, 2015. ( Student must submit an affidavit to this effect ).

f. In case the candidate fails to establish eligibility by October 31, 2015, the admission would be cancelled and fees will be forfeited.

g. Short-listed students will have to appear for GD and PI at any one of the IITTM centres, which they have to mark in the admission form:

Note:

Candidates must come with all original documents for verification before being allowed for the GD and PI.
