Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad holds the MICA Admissions Test ( MICAT - 2015  ) for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management ( PGDM ) Course Admission for the Academic year of 2015-2016.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management ( Communications ) program is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education ( AICTE ) and recognized by the Department of Science and Technology ( DST ), Government of India. MICAT 2021 Exam Pattern

Mudra Institute of Communication Ahmedabad Admission test ( MICAT ) MBA Entrance Examination Exam Pattern – 2015 :

 For Post Graduate Diploma in Management ( PGDM ) :

MICAT is designed to assess analytical ability, verbal ability, logical reasoning, divergent thinking, written communication skills and general awareness about the communications industry.

Sections:

MICAT exam will be divided into 2 sections, which are further divided into various parts.

Section- I:

Consists of 4 descriptive questions on writing arguments, story writing and essay writing.

Section- II:

Part- 1 is a Psychometric Test,

Part- 2 is Reasoning and Verbal Ability,

Part- 3 will be a General Knowledge section, where students will have questions related to latest happenings and news.

Number of Questions:

Section- I consists of 4 descriptive questions.

The Paper- II Section- 1 is the Psychometric Test, which includes 30 statements.

Reasoning and Verbal Ability has 35 questions

General Knowledge section has 25 questions.

Hence, the total number of questions is 94.

Duration:

The duration of MICAT Paper- I is 35 minutes and that of the Paper- II is 90 minutes.

Students are required to complete the exam within the time frames as no extra time would be provided.

The total duration of the MICAT exam is 125 minutes or 2 hours and 5 minutes.

Marking Scheme

The total marks of the MICAT paper is not declared by MICA. There is no negative marking for the Section- I and the Paper- I of Section- II. The Paper- 2 and Paper- 3 have 25% negative marking in case of wrong answers.
