Punjabi University Patiala, one of the premier institutions of higher education in the north India, was established on the 30th April, 1962 under the Punjabi University Act 1961. This is the second University in the world to be named after a language, the first being Hebrew University of Israel. Initially the University started with the objective of developing and promoting the language, literature and culture of the Punjabi people, however, over the time, it has evolved into a multi - faceted, multi-faculty educational institution. Presently it has sixty -five teaching and research departments covering disciplines in Humanities, Arts and Sciences as diverse as Fine Arts, Biotechnology, Forensic Science and Space Sciences. The University provides international standard facilities for students and researchers in various disciplines.

Step 1: Registration Procedure

Log on at www.pupmbaadmissions.com

Fill the Registration Form online - kindly fill your particulars as Name, Father's Name, Date of Birth, Category ( SC / ST or General and all others ), Mobile No., e-mail address, etc. in the registration form.

Step-2: Deposit of Fees

Make the cash payment at any branch of State Bank of Patiala using print out of Fees Challan Form. The candidates are instructed to get Journal Number from the branch, where they have made payment.

Note:

Once the Application Fee payment status is confirmed you will be issued Login Id and Password for future use. The intimation about this will be made through SMS/e-mail alerts.

Step-3 Fill Online Application Form

Log on at www.pupmbaadmissions.com to access Application Form by clicking at Apply button using your Login Id generated at the end of successful registration.

Fill the Application Form Online and provide information regarding your academic record, reservation category and fee details like Journal Number, amount paid, branch name and date of payment etc.

After completion of the Application Form, click on SAVE button.

Edit Your Application Form

Once the Application Fee payment status is confirmed you will be issued Password. The intimation about this will be made through SMS/e-mail alerts. You can confirm your Login Id from Fees Challan Form.

The registered candidates can edit information filled by them in the Application Form for limited Period Using Login Id and Password Issued to Them.

Print the Form

Registered candidates can print their application forms using Login Id and Password for their record.

Step – 5:        

Download the Admit Card

Step – 6:        

Appear in the Entrance Test

Step – 7:        

Appear for Group Discussion

Important Note:

 1. Upload scanned photograph and signature at the specified place on the On-line Application Form. Each must be less than 20 kb in size.

 2. The candidates are instructed to get Journal Number from the Bank Branch, where they have made payment.
