UPMCAT 2021 Online Application Form

The UPMCAT (U.P. Management & MCA Combined Admission Test) – Uttar Pradesh is an exam held for the admission for full time MBA of two years of at various universities and institutions of Uttar Pradesh. The test is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) situated in Lucknow.

This test is a gateway For the Admission of various candidates who want to do two year full time MBA / MMS / MIBM / MMEM / MTM / MCM / MFC and other management courses offered by University departments, government and private institutions of Uttar Pradesh.

Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria for Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test (UPMCAT) is as following.

Nationality :

·         The candidates must be a citizen of India. Only Indian National can take this examination.

Educational Qualification:

·          The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three year duration in any stream from a recognized Indian University; or its equivalent, recognized by A.I.U securing minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

·          To know about the minimum marks of the qualifying examination, please check with the respective college website.

·          Candidates who had appeared for the Bachelors degree examination could also take this test.

·          Some institutions specify minimum percentage of marks for admission tom different management streams at Graduation level.

Reservation of seats :

·         21% seats are reserved for schedule caste (SC), 2% seats are reserved for schedule tribe and 27% seats are reserved for other backward category candidates respectively on all India basis.

How to Apply

The candidate has to submit his/her application for UPSEE-2012 examination ON-Line through www.uptu.ac.in or www.mtu.ac.in or www.upsee.nic.in

The confirmation page generated ON-Line along with the copy of Challan (if the payment is made through bank challan) should be sent to the Registrar (UPSEE-2012), Gautam Buddh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow (UP) – 226021

Application Fees:

The cost of online application inclusive of Entrance Examination Fee for UPSEE-2012 for On-Line application submission, is Rupee 1000/- for General & OBC category and  Rupee 500/- for all female candidates and SC/ST candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates successful in the written test are called for the group discussion and personal interview. Successful candidates from states other than Uttar Pradesh are eligible for admission to all the institutions and universities inside Uttar Pradesh except for Motilal Nehru Regional Engineering, Allahabad.

UPMCAT Important Dates

Generally the Uttar Pradesh Management Common Aptitude Test (UPMCAT) is held in the 3rd week of May every year.
