Uttarakhand Open University is especially focusing on the educational needs of women, the tribals and other marginalized sections. It has signed MoUs with various providers with the sole aim of sharing resources and knowledge for the benefit of the people. The vision of the University is to provide the most critical components of growth, through quality higher education, to the state of Uttarakhand. UOU offers its programmes through 300+ Study Centres established at different locations in the state under eight Regional Centres at Dehradun, Roorkee, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Dwarahat, Bageshwar, Haldwani and Pithoragarh.

For this purpose they will properly fill-in the admission form-Form-1 ( attached with the prospectus ) and submit it to their desired study centre along with the following-

1. Self-Attested copies of required testimonials

2. The registration fee of Rs.100

3. Programme fee ( as applicable for individual programme )

The above process is essential for admission and it shall have to be completed within the specified time. The admission shall be complete only after completion of the entire process and payment of the fees. Candidates are advised to check the fee schedule as mentioned under.

N. B.-Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Entrance Test Pattern:

Admission to MBA, Diploma in Management, and Post Graduate Diploma in specialization programmes ( PGDHRM and PGDMM ) ( all in English medium only ) , will be allowed on the basis of score obtained in the entrance test to be conducted for the purpose.

The test will have questions from the following areas-

1. Reading / Writing Comprehension-20% ( approx )

2. Numerical Ability / Data Interpretation-30% ( approx )

3. Logical / Mental Ability-30 % ( approx )

4. Current Awareness-20% ( approx )

The entrance test will be of 2:30 hours duration and will comprise of 100 Multiple Choice ( objective type ) Questions.

Candidates with valid MAT / CAT score

Candidates with valid CAT/MAT scores are exempted from the entrance test. Such candidates are required to enclose the proof of the score and application-processing fee of Rs. 200/- . Rest of the admission process shall be the same as stated above.
