Joint MCA Entrance Examination ( JMEE )

Assam Engineering College was the beginning of Technical Education in the State of Assam. It has been a long journey of evolution of State technical Education in the State of Assam.Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) 2015 is conducted for taking MCA admission into the third semester of MCA courses of Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat and Bineswar Brahma Engineering College. Registration has been started from April 10, 2015. Last date to apply online is May 6, 2015. Entrance exam will be held on June 28, 2015.Qualified Student will get the opertunity to pursure BE in various colleges and universities located across assam.

For MCA Courses

Age Limit :

Age between 20 years to 26 years on 1st day of July 2015.

Educational & Qualification :

Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of Minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation. The candidate must pass Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or at Graduation.

A minimum of 50% marks must be scored in the Qualifying Degree Examination ( 45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category )

Candidates appearing in their final examination may also apply.

Provisional admission shall be permitted provided that the student gives an undertaking that he / she shall be able to provide final mark sheet / certificate of qualifying examination within 2 months of taking admission failing which the admission of the student shall automatically stand cancelled.

Candidates seeking provisional admission shall have to clear all subjects upto 5th semester in degree level.

These students will have to produce all mark sheets upto 5th semester for verification during Counseling
