North Maharashtra University MCA CET Entrance Examination

The North Maharashtra University is one of the upcoming universities in India, the university was established on 15th August, 1990 under the Maharashtra University Act No. XXIX of 1989 as a teaching and affiliating University. It actually started its academic and administrative activities under the leadership of Prof. Dr. N. K. Thakare, the first Vice Chancellor of the university, from academic year 1991-92. The jurisdiction of North Maharashtra University is spread over three districts of North Maharashtra i.e. Jalgaon, Dhule and Nandurbar.

The university was shifted to its own campus in 1995.The university is situated on the banks of river "Girna" and the campus of the university is spread over a hilly terrain of 650 acres of land. Each building of the campus is well connected through tar roads constructed by the University itself.

Eligibility Criteria

For MCA (DUAL Degree Integrated)

1) A candidate must have passed (10+2) Standard H.S.C. Examination with minimum 45% of marks from Maharashtra State Board having Mathematics as one of the subject at H.S.C. level

Application Receipt Centre (ARC - Following centers will act as ARC. ARC will be responsible for -

1) Collection of the Application Form printout (all subjects) and necessary documents along with D.D. as attached with form.

2) Issuing Receipt Acknowledgement Slip

3) Verification of documents submitted by the candidate and inwarding the application form online.

Note:

1. If the reservation quota remains vacant then 2% seats of total intake capacity will be offered to SBC category candidates.

2. All the candidates claiming the reservation for backward classes should produce "Caste Certificate" in the name of the candidate issued by the Executive Magistrate / Metropolitan Magistrate in Maharashtra State clearly mentioning the Category of the candidate and also the remark that the caste is considered as backward class in the state of Maharashtra, at the time of submission of the Application Form. Failing which, the candidate will not be able to claim for that category of caste.

3. Candidates belonging to NT1, NT2, NT3, OBC, SBC and VJ / DT categories should produce"Non Creamy layer Certificate" valid Upto 31st March, 2015 issued by Sub Divisional Officer / Deputy Collector of the district in addition to the caste certificate. In case the candidates are not able to produce the Non Creamy layer certificate Upto the time of admission such candidates will be treated as OPEN category candidates.

4. The 3% Seats out of total sanctioned intake capacity for a college as a whole are reserved for physically handicapped candidates. The candidate should attach the certificate and will be allotted to the branches as per merit and choice. (Maximum one to each course ).

5. The 2 % seats out of total sanctioned intake capacity for a college as a whole are reserved for wards of persons serving in defense and ex-servicemen. The candidate should attach the certificate and will be allotted to the branches as per merit and choice ( Maximum one to each course ).
