Thapar University MCA Entrance Examination

Thapar University ( TU ) was established on 8 October 1956 as an Engineering College named Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology.Application Form for Thapar University has been released. The forms were issued on the official website. Candidates may avail it before 24 April 2015. However, last date to submit Bio.Tech application form is 30 June 2015. It is a must to fill Thapar University 2015 Application Form. Candidates who will not submit the form, will not be allowed to attend the counselling. TIET MCA 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Thapar University MCA Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria - 2015 :

MCA ( 3 years duration )

Recognized bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration in any discipline with at least 60% marks ( 55% for SC / ST ) in aggregate. Mathematics must be studied at 10+2 level or at graduation level, and has also appeared in the entrance test to be conducted by the university.

Mode of Selection :

Admission shall be made on the merit of the entrance test to be conducted online by the University across India.

MCA Lateral Entry ( 2 years duration )

Recognized bachelor degree of minimum 3 years duration in BCA, B.Sc. ( IT / Computer Science ) with atleast 60% marks ( 55% for SC / ST ) in aggregate. Mathematics must be studied at 10+2 level or at graduation level, and has also appeared in the entrance test to be conducted by the university.

Mode of Selection:

Admission shall be made on the merit of the entrance test to be conducted offline by the University at Patiala.
