The YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, erstwhile, 'YMCA Institute of Engineering, Faridabad' was established in the year 1969, as a joint venture of the National Council Of YMCAs of India, Govt of Haryana and the Central Agencies for Development Aid, Bonn, Germany. It started as an Indo-German project with an aim to impart Technical Education to a developing India on German pattern.

YMCA University of Science and Technology MCA Entrance Exam Reservation of Seats-2015 :

YMCA University Admission for MCA Course shall be made on the basis of inter se merit of Online Entrance Test-OLET MCA-2015 through online conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society ( HSTES )

Department of Technical Education, Haryana invites ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST ( OLET ) for Admission of MCA Course in The University Departments, Govt. / Govt. Aided / Private Institutions Located in State of Haryana for the Academic Session 2015-16.Admissions are done by Haryana State Technical Education Society ( HSTES ) Panchkula.

Reservation of Seats For HSTES-MCA Entrance Exam-2015:

Institutions / intake is subject to change by the competent authority. The change, if any, shall be incorporated accordingly. New institutions and the variation of intake in the existing institutions shall be considered for admission for the year 2015-16, if the approval from the competent authority such as AICTE / Affiliating University is received before the start of counseling.

One seat in each University/ Institute is reserved for Kashmiri Migrants, as per guidelines of AICTE / MHRD for the session. These seats are supernumerary seats.

In the event of quota reserved for physically handicapped remain unutilized due to non- availability for suitable category of handicapped candidates, it may be offered to the Ex-serviceman and their wards (1%) and the dependents of Freedom Fighter (1%).

For private unaided institutions:

The sanctioned intake in private unaided institutions shall be distributed as under :

  1. 25% of sanctioned intake shall be filled by the institutions.
  2. 75% of sanctioned intake shall be filled through HSTES

The private institutes have voluntarily opted that admissions of 75% of sanctioned intake in their institutes shall be done by HSTES from Haryana resident and All India open ( AIO) category candidates as per the reservation policy in counseling’s described above

For private unaided Minority institutions:

  1. All India Category seats not exceeding upto 15% ( at the discretion of the Management as above)
  2. Minority Quota - 42.5% of sanctioned intake fixed by the State Govt. vide notification No. 20/5/2004 4TE, dated 25.06.2004.
  3. Balance- 42.5% (half for Haryana Open General and half for reserved categories of Haryana in the ratio as specified above.

Kashmiri Migrants (KM) :

  1. One seat is reserved in each University / Institute. The seat of Kashmiri Migrants is supernumerary i.e. over and above the sanctioned intake.
  2. For admission against this seat, the Kashmiri Migrants will be required to have the original certificate of Migration duly signed by the competent authority or Relief commissioner.

NRI Quota Seats :

Limited reservation of NRIs Seats, not exceeding 15%, may be made available to NRIs depending on the discretion of the Management subject to two conditions:

1. Such seats should be utilized Bonafide by the NRIs only and for their children or wards.

2. Secondly, within the quota, the merit should not be given a complete go-by.
