Aligarh Muslim University ( AMU ) has conduct Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination for the admission of M.D / M.S / P.G Diploma / M.Ch / M.DS Courses during the academic year 2015-16. Aligarh Muslim University ( AMU ) Medical Entrance Examination Details - 2015

For MBBS / BDS

The MBBS / BDS Entrance Examination conducted by AMU is one of the most sought after courses in the University.

There are a total of 145+5 ( NRI ) Seats for MBBS and 35+5 ( NRI ) Seats for BDS in AMU.

There is a Combined Admission Test for both M.B.B.S. and B.D.S. So, Candidates applying for M.B.B.S. can also apply for admission to B.D.S. on the same Application Form without paying any additional Admission Test Fee.

But the choice of preference in the Application form must be clearly indicated.

Selected candidates will have to go through medical fitness examination before completing the admission.

Applications are invited from the candidates to MBBS / BDS course in AMU.

Reservation of Seats:

Aligarh Muslim University is a whole university which has its own Reservation criteria and also follows Standard Criteria for reservation as directed by Medical Council of India.

AMU offers 50% horizontal reservation for Muslim candidates

Also 20% horizontal reservation lies for Internal Students ( Students from Aligarh Muslim University ).

And rest is the standard reservation policy directed by Government of India.
