Banaras Hindu University - ( BHU ) Medical Entrance Test

Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) is an internationally reputed temple of learning, situated in the holy city of Varanasi. This Creative and innovative university was founded by the great nationalist leader, Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, in 1916 to promote the building up of character in youth by religion and ethics as an integral part of education. Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) announces Admission to MBBS / BDS courses for the year 2015.

BHU Pre Medical Test ( BHU PMT ) Admission – 2015 is based on AIPMT score. It is one of the participating universities in AIPMT. Therefore, candidates should have to appear on All India Pre-Medical / Pre-Dental Entrance Test ( AIPMT )- 2015. BHU has announced notification for the admission of Post graduate courses during the academic year 2015-16 and complete details about  BHU undergraduate and post graduate admission details are metnioned below.

BHU 2021 PG - Eligibility Criteria

Banaras Hindu University ( BHU ) Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination Eligibility Criteria – 2015

There is no separate entrance examination. Candidates who have appeared and qualified AIPGMEE-2015 are eligible for admission based on their rank.

For MD / MS courses:

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign Medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.

Candidates who have studied / passed MBBS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir and Andhra Pradesh are not eligible for 50% All India Quota. However, the candidates who were nominated by the Government of India ( under central pool seats ) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission.

The candidates who have obtained MBBS degree from the Medical Colleges which are not recognized by Medical Council of India shall not be eligible for this test.

For MDS course:

The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

A candidate, who holds BDS degree from a recognized Medical / Dental college or a foreign Medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Dental Council Act, and who has obtained full registration either from the Dental Council of India or any of the State Dental Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.
