Medical | D Y Patil | PG Selection Procedure

All Indian Post Graduate Medical Entrance test ( AIPGMET-2015 ) will be conducted for admission to the various post graduate medical courses under D.Y.Patil Medical college, Kolhapur, a constituent college of D.Y.Patil Education society Deemed university. The medical college was established in 1989 and is recognized by the medical council of India. The admission committee of the university will be responsible for conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results, counseling and final admission to the courses. Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the academic year-2015. Admission will be based on AIPGMET-2015 Merit score.

For MD / MS and PG Diploma Courses:

The selection of candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of candidates taking in to consideration the preference given by the candidates and availability of seat in the branch / discipline of the his /her choice when called for counseling .

Tie Breaker

In case of equal marks at AIPGMET 2015 inter-se-merit of candidates will be determined by applying following tiebreaker rules:

First Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks in the aggregate of marks at the first. Second and Third M.B.B.S ( Part I and Part II ) examination taken together, will be preferred. If the tie still persist then,

Second Level: A candidate securing Higher percentage of marks in the Third M.B.B.S ( Part I and Part II ), will be preferred. If the tie still persist then

Third Level: A candidate securing higher percentage of marks at the second M.B.B.S Examinations, will be preferred If the tie still persist then,

Fourth Level: An older candidate will be preferred over younger candidate.
