Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU - OET ) Medical

Manipal University conducts its own online entrance exam to offer admissions to candidates in the programmes that it has on offer. Candidates can secure admissions in courses provided at Manipal University on the basis of their rank/score in Manipal Entrance Test (MET). The exam, was earlier, known as Manipal University Online Entrance Exam (MU-OET).

Programmes on offer for admissions at Manipal University include – MBBS, MD, MS, PG Medical Diploma, MSc (in many disciplines), MPhil, DM, Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Pathology (BASLP), Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BSc CVT), BSc (in many disciplines), Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BTech (in many disciplines), MTech (in many disciplines), MSc (in many disciplines), BArch, BDes, BA, MA and the likes.

MET 2019 (1st and 2nd attempt) will be held in more than 50 cities across the country, and the third attempt will be offered to students in the last week of May. MU OET Medical 2021 Admit Card

MU OET 2018 Admit Card will be issued by Manipal University to the candidates who fulfill two conditions – successfully fill the online application form and book the test slot through OTBS (Online Test Slot Booking). It will be released in online mode only on the official website of the university in the March 2018. Generation of admit card will be initiated 24 hours after booking the test slot. The e-hall ticket will also be emailed to candidates on the email address mentioned by them in the application form. No candidate will be sent MU OET 2018 Admit Card in post or courier. It can only be obtained in online mode by providing some basic details correctly.

Steps to Obtain MU OET 2018 Admit Card

Candidate must follow the steps given below to download the admit card from official website of the university:

Open the official website of Manipal University and click the link for MU OET 2018.
Login into the account by entering application ID and password correctly in the fields.
Now, find and click the link for admit card on the page. Admit card will now be shown.
Press print command to take printout of the admit card, preferably color printouts.
Keep printout of the admit card in best of the condition till the final allotments are done.

Details on MU OET 2018 Hall Ticket

A candidate can check the following details on the admit card (subject to change) – name, father’s name, address, application number, roll number, password for exam, photo, space for pasting identical photo, space for signature, space for thumb impression, space for invigilator’s signature, exam date and day, exam time, exam center code and address, course applied for, and some instructions for the exam. If any discrepancy is detected in the details of MU OET 2018 Admit Card, it must be immediately reported to the exam officials for correction. Candidate must particularly check the photo because if photos mismatch, permission to take the exam will not be given.

Verification of MU OET 2018 Admit Card

At the exam center, candidate’s original MU OET 2018 Admit Card, copy of MU OET 2018 Application Form, and a valid photo ID proof will be checked. Thereafter, biometric verification will be done to ensure that the card bearer is the same candidate who has applied for the exam. Valid additional IDs include – Aadhar card, passport, ration card, driving license, passport, and voter ID card. If the invigilator is dubious of the identity, he will bar the candidate from taking the exam. The similar process of verification will be done at other stages of admission process.
