Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test ( UPPGMET )

UPPGMET is an acronym for Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test. Uttar Pradesh Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association conducts an entrance exam for admissions to first year of three years PG programmes ( MD and MS ) for academic year starting in 2015.

This exam is conducted as per the guidelines of Hon'ble High Court. UP Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association is a consortium of Unaided Non Minority Medical Colleges in Uttar Pradesh registered under the Societies Registration Act (Act No. 21 of 1860).The candidates clearing the entrance examination are also eligible for admission to the Medical Colleges of Agra, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, and Meerut and in Medical / Dental faculty of CSM Medical University, Lucknow.

UPPGMET 2021 Exam Pattern

Exam Pattern for UPPGMET Entrance Examination -2015

There will be a total no. of 250 objective type multiple choice questions as per the guideline of syllabus given in the appendix of this brochure.

The UPPGMET - 2015 will consist of a maximum of 250 marks.

Minimum cut-off pass percentage of marks in UPPGMET-2015 shall be 50 % for General and 40% in case of SC / ST / OBC and merit shall be determined on the basis of marks secured in UPPGMET - 2015.

There will be negative marks of 1/4 for each wrong answer.

More than one answer marked in OMR answer sheet will also be considered as wrong answer.

Only black ball point pen shall be used for answering on OMR answer sheet.
