Mathura University PhD Entrance Exam

Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go Anusandhan Sansthan, Mathura, first of its kind in the State and fourth in the Country, was established by Government of Uttar Pradesh vide U. P. Act. No. 27 of 2001 on 25.10.2001 with the College of Veterinary Science & AH., the erstwhile U.P. College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Mathura as its main constituent College.

Applications for Ph.D programmes are invited on All India basis. The candidate must have passed the B.V.Sc & A.H examination from a VCI recognized college. The applications of employed candidates must route through their employer, failing which the same will not be entertained.

For Ph.D programmes in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry - 2015:

Uttar Pradesh Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Pashu Chikitsa Vigyan Vishwavidyalaya Evam Go-Anusandhan Sansthan ( DUVASU ) has Conducted Entrance Examination for the admission of PhD courses during the academic year 2015-16.

The admission shall be made strictly in order of merit cum reservation based on the marks obtained by the candidate in main Entrance Examination.

In case of candidates having obtained equal marks in the entrance examination, their inter-se ranking shall be determined on the basis of the following:

The aggregate percent of marks obtained by the candidates at the Master Degree.

In case of the candidate, who has obtained equal marks in the aggregate at the qualifying examinations as well as in science subjects, and even other examinations upto Master degree, the date of birth shall be the basis i.e. the candidate senior in age would rank higher for selection.
