Sri Venkateswara University Research Entrance Test ( SVURESET ) Entrance Examination

SVU Research Entrance Test ( SVURESET - 2015 ) is being conducted for admission into research programme leading to Ph.D. in different disciplines in S.V. University Colleges (campus), Tirupati, SV University College of Engineering, Tirupati, Colleges affiliated to SV University and Research Institutions / Laboratories with recognized supervisors for the year 2015-16. Ph.D. degree programme shall be pursued either on full-time or part-time basis in the concerned subject of post graduation.

Sri Venkateswara University Research Entrance Test ( SVURESET ) For Directorate Of Admissions Entrance Examination Test Pattern – 2015 :

For Ph.D Programme Course

a) SVURESET-2015 will be held at Tirupati only the date of entrance examination will be notified in the website www.svudoa.in.

b) The test is of 1 hour 30 minutes duration with 100 multiple choice questions carrying one mark for each question.

c) The syllabus for the entrance test is the PG Syllabus of S.V. University for the subject concerned.

d) The syllabus may be downloaded from the website www.svudoa.in.

e) The question paper is divided into two parts Part-A and Part-B.

f) Part-A consists of 20 multiple choice questions related to General Aptitude. This is common for all.

Part-B is related to specific subject of the candidate qualified. This test consists of 80 multiple choice questions.

Qualifying Marks in the Entrance Test

A candidate seeking admission into Ph.D ( Full-time / Part-time ) shall have to qualify in the SVURESET-2015 and obtain a minimum of 50 marks in the entrance test. However, in the case of SC / ST candidates, the minimum shall be 45 marks.
