Executive Officer Grade- IV 2021 Age Criteria

• Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes and Destitute Widows of all categories should have completed 25 years and not exceeded than 40* years.
• Most Backward Classes / Denotified, Communities, and Backward, Classes(Other than Muslim) should have completed 25 years and not exceeded than 37* years.
• "Others” [ i.e Applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (Other than Muslim) and Destitute Widows of all categories] should have completed 25 years and not exceeded than 35 years.

Note: * i. No maximum age limit for applicants belonging to SCs / SC (A)s ,STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (Other than Muslim) and Destitute Widows of all categories who possess a General Educational Qualification which is higher than the Minimum General Educational Qualification (i.e. who have passed P.U.C / H.S.C / Diploma /Degree).

ii. Applicants not belonging to SCs/ SC (Arunthathiyars), STs, MBC/DCs, BCs (Other than Muslim) i.e. “Others” who have put in five years of service in the State / Central Government are not eligible to apply even though they are within the age limit.

iii. Paragraph 5 of the “Instructions to Applicants” will apply to this recruitment only for the maximum age limit. The age concession announced in Paragraph 14 of the “Instructions to Applicants” will apply for the maximum age limit.

Age Concession

For Differently Abled Persons

Differently Abled Persons are eligible for age concession upto 10 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed above.

For Ex-servicemen

(a) The maximum age limit is 48 years for “others”.

(b) The above-mentioned age concession will not apply to Ex-Servicemen applicants those who have already been recruited to any class or service or category.
