UPSC Indian Economic Service/ Indian Statistical Service

The IES ISS (Indian Economic Service Indian Statistical Service) is an administrative inter-ministerial Group A Central Services of the executive branch of the government of India. IES ISS (and Indian Statistical Service) is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. It is conducted once a year. candidates  clearing this exam are recruited to Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service of government of India.

UPSC IES / ISS 2021 Vacancy Details

Services to which recruitment is to be made on the results of this exam and the approx number of vacancies in Junior Scale of the Services are given below:

 Indian Economic Service - 14 Seats

 Indian Statistical Service - 32 Seats

Note: 1 vacancy has been kept reserved for PwBD (Deaf & Hard of Hearing) for Indian Statistical Service and 1 vacancy has been kept reserved for PwBD (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) for the Indian Economic Service by the Govt. through IES/ISS Exam 2019
