  1. For what value of t will the system tx +3y - z = 1, x + 2y + z = 2, -tx + y + 2z = -1 fail to have unique solution?

  2. Verify (AB)-1 = B-1 A-1 for A =\(\left[ \begin{matrix} 2 & 1 \\ 5 & 3 \end{matrix} \right] \) and B =\(\left[ \begin{matrix} 4 & 5 \\ 3 & 4 \end{matrix} \right] \).

  3. Find the rank of the matrix math \(\left[ \begin{matrix} 4 \\ -2 \\ 1 \end{matrix}\begin{matrix} 4 \\ 3 \\ 4 \end{matrix}\begin{matrix} 0 \\ -1 \\ 8 \end{matrix}\begin{matrix} 3 \\ 5 \\ 7 \end{matrix} \right] \).

  4. Solve 2x - 3y = 7, 4x - 6y = 14 by Gaussian Jordan method.

  5. If the rank of the matrix \(\left[ \begin{matrix} \lambda & -1 & 0 \\ 0 & \lambda & -1 \\ -1 & 0 & \lambda \end{matrix} \right] \) is 2, then find ⋋.
