About College

Atarra PG College is located in Atarra Tehsil of Banda district in Uttar Pradesh. It is not only one of the best colleges of Bundelkhand University but also of Uttar Pradesh. It has five faculties, a large central library, a gymnasium, T.T Hall, well-equipped laboratories and separate hostels for male and female students. This college was established in 1962 under the guardianship of the great philanthropist Jagpat Singh.

The students who have passed out of this college have not only been shortlisted for the best positions in the College but they have also been successful in the I.A.S, P.C.S, and U.G.C Net examinations. Many of the former students are working in higher posts as Scientists, Doctors, Engineers, Educationists and administrative Officers.

The aim of the Atarra PG College is to provide admitted students, all round and better knowledge. The second land of Rishi Atri, Atarra, believes that the entire universe in its family and has taken as its motto, “Vasudev Kutumbkam” meaning “The entire universe is a family”.

Students from different states and abroad come here for better education and after gaining all knowledge, they go back to their own places or countries. It’s our expectation from new students that with hard work and discipline they will establish new horizon of success. The faculty here endeavors to mould their talents and guide them towards a bright future.
