Bharathi College was founded In 1970 under the aegis of B.E.T. The college offers Under- Graduate Courses in Arts, Science& Commerce and also UGC sponsored career oriented Add-On certificate/ diploma courses. The college has a highly qualified and experienced staff. It also has state-of-the-art laboratory facilities. The college fuctions from a majestic and awe inspiring stone building and is the hub of all the activities of B.E.T.

 Located in a rural backward area, Bharathi College is one of its kind and offers courses which are not available even in city collegeBAHE has been set up to offer research oriented two year post graduate courses under the aegis of Bharathi college. BAHE presently offer a two-year M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Organic Chemistry courses. Plans are also on the anvil to start Post­Graduate courses in Bio-Technology, Bio-Chemistry and Microbiology
