About College

Bharati Vidyapeeth's College of Engineering for women was established in June 2000. Subsequently, we got recognition from AICTE, which is the statutory body controlling technical education in India, and the Government of Maharashtra. This is, in a way, an acknowledgment of the excellent educational facilities and modern infrastructure provided in our college.

The college is affiliated with the University of Pune, which has stringent measures of evaluation. The faculty includes experienced dedicated and highly qualified teachers. Keeping in mind, the latest educational technology, the college modifies the mode of classroom teaching, where traditional face-to-face methods are replaced by modern teaching aids.They have also started a unique approach of preparing educational CDs, for conceptually difficult subjects. Weak students could help themselves by referring to these CDs from our library. In a professional education system, it is very essential that teaching has a strong backup of research. Keeping this in view, the college encourages the teaching staff to undertake research activities and to contribute their mite to the development of their subjects.
