Dr Sir A L Mudaliar Vocational Arts and Science

Dr. Sir A.L. Mudaliar Vocational Arts and Science is located in Tiruvallur. It is a self financed college affiliated to the Madras University. The main reason behind establishing this college was, to impart vocational training in various science and arts discipline to the local students. Due to lack of other vocational training centers in this area, this college gained immense popularity amongst the local people within a very short span of time.

Dr. Sir A.L. Mudaliar Vocational Arts and Science College is famous for its B.A degree in Corporate Secretaryship and this is the only B.A degree that it offers. The candidates can hail from any background to get admitted to this course.
However, for the other courses, which mainly deal with science, the candidates are preferred to have an academic knowledge about it in their preceding curriculum. For example, if the candidate is opting for B. Sc in Microbiology, then the candidates should have a background in biology till class 12.The admissions to these courses are subjected to the reservation laws under the state government. Specific number seats are always reserved for the ST and SC.The marks criteria required to get admitted can vary from time to time. The criteria for a particular year are declared in the college campus itself.
