About College

Falakata B.Ed. College (FBEC), Jalpaiguri was established to promote the education in this region. The college is located at a peaceful environment, far from pollution. Falakata B.Ed College is affiliated to North Bengal University and recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The aim of the college is to impart proper training to the educated youth in the field of education and also to enable the prospective teacher to understand the nature, purpose and spirit of Secondary/Higher Secondary Education. The College is involved to give the trainees to meet the future challenges in the field of Education and develop communication skills and use modern information Technology for School Purpose. 

The college offers one year Bachelor of Education programme, to the young aspirants of the area. The Overall administration of the college is looked after by a duly constituted Governing Body under relevant statute of the University of North Bengal, through the Principal of the college. Academic activities including sessional / co- curricular activities are monitored by the teacher's council. The college is well equipped with all modern facilities.
